[L-I] "Rebuild the Workers Party" website: msg#00063politics.leninism.international
Comrades and friends; I would like to invite you to visit the "Rebuild the Workers Party" website. The website, overseen by pro-Party comrades here in Detroit (until others ask to get involved), is meant to be a more comprehensive review of the pro-Party project here in the U.S., with a special orientation to the history and political traditions of the movement. On the website, you will find: * ammo -- A near-daily review of information culled from thousands of sources of news and information around the world. The goal of ammo is to provide information to working-class militants and communists in order to enhance our collective struggle. If you have news articles that you think should be published for the benefit of all, please send them. * Yours For The Revolution -- A periodic column, written by me, on events and issues affecting working people. I would like to see YFTR also serve as an avenue for exchange and discussion on current events from a Marxist perspective (in other words, write letters!). * Building Workers' Unity -- The specific page for this e-mail list and other related discussion for a for the pro-Party movement. There is now a chatroom and bulletin board available for comrades to use alongside this list. Under the BWU page, we are also including documents and discussion pieces related to the project. If you write something related to the political and/or organizational questions facing the pro-Party movement, we would certainly like to put it on the website. * Our History -- One of the two main historical archives of the pro-Party movement. This section contains documents related to the history and work of the Workers Party of America, the result of the first pro-Party movement in the U.S. Some of the documents that will appear here have not been available since the 1920s except in the reference sections of major libraries -- i.e., unavailable or unknown to the public. * Communist International -- The other main historical archive. Many organizations claim to stand by the first four Congresses of the Communist International. Now, that can be checked. We are hoping to get all the major documents passed at these Congresses online in the next weeks and months. We then plan to find the transcripts of the discussions related to the documents, so that comrades can see how the Leninists handled such political debate on an international level. We are also planning to add a links section, more contact information and -- obviously! -- more documents as time goes on. In many respects, the website is "open source." That is, it is not simply the "property" of those who produce it; we welcome all submissions from comrades (pro-Party AND anti-Party) that relate to the above points. We would like the website to be as versatile and flexible as our movement. Please take the time to check out the website. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.
