it's not actually disabled. that checkmark is to add it to the search box. it's
a really poorly done configuration window. :(

point #2: see above answer.. ;)

krunner. I have to restart krunner"

i'll fix that right now. the fix will appear in 4.4 (4.3 is already tagged, and
i don't think it's an important enough fix to backport?)
