I use my laptop in to different places, at work (behind an authenticating 
proxy) and at home (without proxy). In my workplace the microblogging widget
doesn't show any info.
But at home it work correctly.

Since there are a number of applets that don't work correctly behind an
authenticating proxy, I supposed this is just one of those cases.
