any updates on the ldap authentication adapter?

Hi all,

Has there been any updates on the ldap authentication adapter? I have
checked the proposal and issues and the proposed code and sadly it
dates back to May. I will have a look at the proposed code soon and
see how much this could actually be implemented within the
authentication framework.

Hope to hear from you Vincent Dupont. I may require some enlightenment
about it's roadmap.
