scheduled tasks: msg#00435

Subject: scheduled tasks
Reading all the mails about scheduled tasks over the past few months it occurs
to me that there might be a use for a windoze app that simply requests a url
(script) at pre-arranged times. It must be good for anything from 95 to XP,
free of charge, no DLLs, no registry screw-ups, easy on resources and generally
a no-brainer to install, uninstall and run. ... AND run on either the server
itself or some client that is almost always connected. .... and ....
(whatever else you can think of).

If there is not already something like this out there - is this what we are all
saying we want????
