Subject: Re: Forking PHP to death!!

Yea I have used memcache before its pretty sweet, extremely easy to use. It would also allow me to cluster multiple servers together and share chat data across them
( Yea like I will ever get a chatroom that big running )

Am looking for some help on the project though if anyone is interested in learning a lot about Sockets and such ;)

As a "central" storage for all shared information. That or I just need to learn C and do my engine in that hahaaha

It appears that memcache requires the memcached daemon to be running somewhere for data storage. It looks like your most promising option if you can run the daemon, though.
