OT - Possible contract work available.: msg#00279php.tcphp
I recently started my own business and things have taken off quite well. Currently to the point where I am interested in sub-contracting some of the work that I have. Most of the projects I have are quick projects (under 10 hours) and I'm looking for someone that I can hand off a few projects a month to. What I'm looking for (in order of importance): 1) Someone who's available for about 10 - 15 hours / month (maybe more maybe less - depends on if the business continues at this rate). 2) Strong PHP / MySQL background and very comfortable working on a Linux system. OOP experience nice, but not necessary. 3) Familiar with Semantic XHTML, CSS and 508 issues. 4) UI design experience. 5) Easy to contact. Prefer people who use IM and are available for a quick phone call if needed. The typical project would be to build a simple CMS system. An example would be to create an interface to allow a user to update one page on their site. Of course that's an example, projects do vary in scope and complexity. I'm willing to pay between $15 and $30 / hour for the right person. I don't have a huge margin to play with on some of these projects. Larger projects may be higher. If you're interested, please send me a resume with a couple of links to past projects for which you were a primary contributor, along with your rate requirements off list.
