Thanks for all the hints guys. I think I got it.

append_at_myorigin = yes
append_dot_mydomain = yes

Both of those said "no" on all three machines, but I got it working with AOL when I turned them on. I'll know more later this week if it is completely functional.

I am really good at the PHP confs but postfix gives me troubles yet.

I'd tweaked Postfix once before (couple of summers past) but Apache
