Volunteers for PHP/MySQL book: msg#00194php.tcphp
Hello all, we're writing a "hobbyist" type book on PHP and MySQL. It gets advanced towards the middle, but the beginning is more for someone that knows HTML, not someone that has a CS degree or has been programming in C or C++. What our editor is okay with is seeking a volunteer or two from our PHP community to take a gander at chapters of the book. Not the whole book mind you. You would certainly get acknowledgment in that section of the book if you agreed to help. If you think you may want to read some chapters, great, but you will be bound to a confidentiality agreement regarding the content and the publisher's name. Please email myself or Jon offlist if you're interested.
