Re: Collaborative PHP project: Any movie fans?: msg#00047php.tcphp
I'm looking for a collaborator to work on a series of scripts I'm hacking together for gathering movie information and working with movie-related websites (Movies.com, Roger Ebert's site, Amazon.com, Netflix), etc. Essentially, I'm writing stuff to help me organize DVD's, choose new movies to see/rent, add items to my Netflix queue, and just generally manipulate movie-related data and sites. Some of it runs on the commandline, some in a browser. I'm not sure if its in line with what you're up to, or if the creator plays well with others, but check out http://www.cin-o-matic.com/ He's got reviews, Netflix integration, local listings and syndicated watch lists. But apparently no Amazon stuff. Perhaps you can get your peanut butter on his chocolate, or vice versa.
