My expirence with PDF and PHP has been primiarly with FPDF. I used it to generate Purchase orders. Since it couldnt open and edit a pdf, i created a jpeg that had the basic form. I imported that and worked at placeing each feild on the page. A bit of trial and error before i got it right. You could probably create a library of pdf functions that will generate pdfs with data given to it.
