Package proposal : TVision: msg#00039

Subject: Package proposal : TVision
I'd like to propose a new extension : a wrapper for TVision - Unix port [1] of
Turbo Vision.

Turbo Vision is a framework for creating text-mode user interfaces in MS-DOS,
developed by Borland. Borland shipped Turbo Vision with their Turbo Pascal and
Turbo C++ compilers.

Sergio Sigala's port is licensed under the terms of BSD license. I heard that
Borland FAQ states that original code is in public domain, but these FAQ
entries seem to be non-existing anymore. See [2] and [3].

The question is : is it acceptable to host this extension in PECL, taking in
account that the source code of TVision library will be bundled with the
package, since I had to do some modifications to make it compile under gcc
3.3.2 ?
