Ha sorry, I was not aware it works automatically this way, I always
thought it was a manual process and did it manually for other packages
where I installed more dev ...

I was hoping it would be. We have had two delays.
1) I haven't had time to do the packaging and call for tests
2) the make-rpm-spec command needs to be ready for integration with
makerpm before I can do #1. Tim Jackson is working on this perhaps as I
type.
Yes, it's great ! We suffer too much of bad distros.
This is all documented, by the way, in the bug tracker. Now that
package versions can be linked to bugs/feature requests, it is serving
as a formal roadmap for what we want to happen prior to 1.4.7, and what
will happen in 1.5.0.
I was not aware of that too, missed some mails certainly...
