leading number in a variable name

Hello everyone,

        I have come across a bit of a problem.  I have a client who has an MS
soap server and one of his functions calls for an integer variable who's
variable name is 1somevar.  Since part of the nusoap class places the
variable names as keys in a couple of arrays, It is not matching the
wsdl description for the variable with the variable being handed to it
on the call.  Any ideas of how I can work around this?
