Can you be more specific about "From php I get a fatal error and script dies."
What is the fatal error?

Subject: [Nusoap-general] handling soap timeouts

Not really a Nusoap issue, but wondering if anyone has a solution:

I'm calling into a chain of soap services, which can occasionally time
out. From php I get a fatal error and script dies. Apparently I can
change the socket timeout setting, but I don't want a longer timeout, I
want to catch the timeout without dying.

I read about some heroic efforts to redefine the error handler
(http://www.webkreator.com/php/configuration/handling-fatal-and-parse-er
rors.html). I'm wondering if this isn't a common problem and whether
there isn't a simpler solution. I'm not experienced in php so maybe I'm
missing something obvious?
