handling soap timeouts: msg#00111php.nusoap.general
Not really a Nusoap issue, but wondering if anyone has a solution: I'm calling into a chain of soap services, which can occasionally time out. From php I get a fatal error and script dies. Apparently I can change the socket timeout setting, but I don't want a longer timeout, I want to catch the timeout without dying. I read about some heroic efforts to redefine the error handler (http://www.webkreator.com/php/configuration/handling-fatal-and-parse-er rors.html). I'm wondering if this isn't a common problem and whether there isn't a simpler solution. I'm not experienced in php so maybe I'm missing something obvious? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Oracle 10g Get certified on the hottest thing ever to hit the market...
