Subject: Re: Validating against schema?

Sorry Scott replied to the wrong one of Chris's posts, the information
relates to the other post ---

-------------

Could someone point me to an example/tutorial of setting
up a client (using wsdl) where the body of the soap envelope
will contain (only) a XML document. I can parse the XML
document well and fine. I'm just having a difficult time visualising
how to set up such a NuSOAP client (using wsdl).

thnx,
Chris

Do you simply parse the XML, or do you truly validate it against a schema?

I am doing exactly this, but it is a bit of a bodge at the moment. The
returned value from the SOAP call should be a XML document. I convert it to
a string then return the string, then convert the string back into XML then
parse the string. The functions in NuSoap suggested there was an XML parser
in there (not a schema parser) when I checked the code the functions did not
exist I have written a the missing code and now can parse the XML using just
NuSoap. I can let you have the code if you want to included it.
