PHP + GD Install?

I seem to have a problem when trying to compile php with gd.    

I run this; 

[tyler@stimpy php-4.2.3]$ ./configure --with-mysql 
--with-apache=../apache_1.3.27 --enable-track-vars --with-gd=/usr

Then, after the configuration is over with, it tells me this;
