Not to do a 180 change on you... but if we're the only
site insisting on
Win98, I think we can back down on that. Enough time
has passed now -
where I've been doing some serious leaning on my
management. They're
beginning to see the death of 98, and much more
willing to consider a
change than they were last fall. I think I can push
it still farther -
along the lines of one of your original arguments;
i.e., Win98's using
the older, Gtk1 version and the spiffy Gtk2 for our
newer sites.
I certainly don't want us to be the sole cause of a
holdup on the beta,
or a complication in the overall development process.
