That should change...
I just think that this helper wouldn't be needed very often.
How to do the thing with the function:
One could use the get_defined_constants() and filter all the names
beginning with the group, e.g. "GTK_CURSOR" or so. Then the array could
be flipped and the right value selected - and there is the name.
I know that a "real" oo solution would be better, but I don't think it's
worth it.
