Subject: Install on plesk server - non standard php location

Hi

We are using Plesk 8 for a few of our servers. PHP come pre-installed on
this (v 4.4.4) and as such there are two problems:

phpize is not installed/available
the root location is /usr/local/psa/apache/bin/php

Is there a way I can set this to install correctly with the two above
problems? I'm not sure if phpize can be installed easily, due to the
abnormal path that php is installed in?

I'm on FreeBSD 6.1 so also tried installing from ports, but this detects
that php is not installed in /usr/local/php and then tries to install -
and I dont really want another copy of php hanging around for no reason?

any help would be appreciated.
