Hi,
I am trying to use eAccelerator 0.9.5-rc1 against PHP 5.1.4, but am having
some problems. I have compiled from source against both 5.0.3 and 5.1.4 and
the same problems exist. All of this worked perfectly on PHP 5.0.4 and
eAccelerator 0.9.3.
When I try to use the caching functions, I get "PHP Fatal error: Call to
undefined function eaccelerator_put()". I have used control.php to ensure
caching is turned on, and have looked for compile directives to switch this
on, but don't know how to fix it.
Version 0.9.3 worked great with encoding against PHP 5.0.3. I understand that
I need to re-encode my php files to work for 0.9.5, but when I invoke
encoder.php, I get Apache error "[19371] EACCELERATOR: PHP crashed on opline
14 of eaccelerator_encode() at
/oracle/d1/oracle/vmdevappl/xxvm/11.5.0/php/php_start/encoder.php:42".
My php version shows correctly with "eAccelerator v0.9.5-rc1" and I am using
the same php.ini settings as for 0.9.3 (plus
eaccelerator.allowed_admin_path). Any help would be greatly appreciated in
getting these issues resolved.
Cheers, Mike.
