Hey Matt,
thanks for the heads up, that works. ;)
I guess I have no idea how these things work, good thing you guys are
around.
Cheers

I've received this error when testing the load method in php.ini. Are
you loading with a "zend_extension_ts=c:\path\to\eaccelerator.dll"
directive in php.ini, or with something like
"extension=eaccelerator.dll"? On my WindowsXP setups, I have to use
the "zend_extension_ts" type of load - the Windows binary PHP
downloads are threadsafe.
I'm using PHP 4.3.11, 5.0.4 and Apache 2.0.54 on WindowsXP. I've
compiled the eAccelerator dll files with VS.NET and can post them if
you'd like to give them a try.

Hello out there,
since installing the eaccelerator php extension, I get curious errors
and I'm searching for a solution.
With php 4.3.11, on call of a php page I get a windows memory-read
error, so I tried 4.3.10. However, here I get a php/Apache error,
telling me the following:
"Unknown(): Unable to load dynamic library
'./extensions/php_eaccelerator.dll' - %1 is not a valid Win32
application."
I re-downloaded the dll, to no avail, and am now at the end of my
wisdom as to what to do. If anyone of you could enlighten me, I'd
highly appreciate it. ;)
Thanks so much
Aragos
It would be nice to tell us where you downloaded them. But try the one I
made, maybe they work better: http://www.zoeloelip.be/ea/win32/
I only compiled them with php 4.3.11 and php 5.0.4 I don't know if they
work with an older php version. Let us know what happened.
cheers,
Bart
I originally got the dll from here: http://www.arnot.info/eaccelerator/
Now I tried yours, but with the same result as for the previous tries.
The error message (php 4.3.11) can be seen here:

Thanks for your help

The problem is that I'm not a windows developer. I've compiled the dll's
on a Windows Xp machine with VC6. I installed xammp and installed the
new eA version and it worked.
How did you install apache? Do you know if there is any way of debugging
on windows? On a unix machine I just install gdb and run it in there so
I have a stacktrace.
cheers,
Bart
