Are you using Mac OS X 10.3? I thought they switched from using
Sendmail to using Postfix between 10.2 and 10.3 - unless this is OS X
Server, which I'm unfamiliar with...
You're correct, OS X Server 10.3 uses Postfix (and Cyrus for IMAP).
10.2 Server used sendmail.
