My English is not so good and my perception about the use of Taxonomy
is limited because I only have used it for basic categorization, I
didn't use all resources. So, I ask to you to improve it by repairing
my English and adding concepts, if necessary.

Taxonomy: resource used in Drupal which organizes content of the site.
Taxonomy is synonymous of "Categories" and uses two abstract
conventions - vocabularies and terms - to assign a subject to content.
In short, an content producer creates terms associated to vocabularies
to make the "categorization" of content of the site. Taxonomy makes
possible to filter content, to restrict user access to content and to
use RSS feeds to sindicate content to other site. Read more here.
