[Documentation feature] UTF requirement not mentioned: msg#00006php.drupal.documentation
Issue status update for http://drupal.org/node/61284 Post a follow up: http://drupal.org/project/comments/add/61284 Project: Documentation Version: <none> Component: Installation Category: feature requests Priority: normal Assigned to: Anonymous Reported by: bluerobot Updated by: bluerobot Status: active I was happily installing Drupal on a website when I got an error from MySQL. After a half-hour of poking around I come to realize that I need to somehow have a UTF-8 enabled database. Maybe this could be added to the system requirements - would have saved me the install time and the big let down at the end... bluerobot -- Pending work: http://drupal.org/project/issues/documentation/ List archives: http://lists.drupal.org/pipermail/documentation/ |
