Hello all,
I have just finished updating the PDF version of the Drupal
handbook, available at
http://www.puregin.org/files/Drupal_handbook.pdf
I hope that we will be in a position to generate the PDF from the
exported DocBook XML - probably within a month. This should give us
more control over the output, and eliminate some of the annoying bugs
present in the HTML2PS translation process currently used.
It's been just over two months since I made the first PDF version
available. That version had 354 pages. In the meantime, the handbook
has grown to 435 pages - this represents considerable growth, since a
number of duplicate sections were removed and other sections edited
down considerably.
I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed new material or worked
to make the existing content better and easier to use.
There's still a lot of work to be done, but it's heartening to take a
step back and see how much has actually been accomplished in the past
few months!
