List: php.drupal.documentation
These are good. However, I've never added a taxonomy-list to the menu.
Is that the Taxonomy Menu module?

Re: Drupal HowTo's
I had thought about these two. But to effectively do this, all student
groups would have to work on howto setup different websites. While a
personal weblog and community website might be fairly easy, I'm afraid
that it would be difficult to find other site configurations that they
can do. It's a technical writing class, so I can't spend a lot of time
talking about site configuration design and setup.
Also, I need to balance the work appropriately somewhat between groups.
These two items are fairly work intensive for someone that has never set
them up before and, indeed, might not have much familiarity with even
using them. I'm afraid that it would turn into me setting them all up
and providing them with instructions rather than them figuring out for
themselves. Sort of defeats the purpose of the project, and it would
probably be easier for me to just do it myself rather than try to teach
them how to do it. LOL

It can be, but the taxonomy_menu.module just automates something that is
entirely do-able by hand (with custom menus pointing to the tid URL).
