init_theme() error after upgrading to CVS

Greetings,

	I'm new to the list and to Drupal.  The first version of Drupal I  
installed was 4.3.2.  I've just done an upgrade to CVS and have run into  
some errors I've unable to resolve.

	To upgrade, I downloaded the CVS .tar.gz file, copied the extracted files  
over my current Drupal install, then corrected the information in  
conf.php.  I then ran update.php and got the following error messages:

warning: init_theme(): Failed opening '' for inclusion  
(include_path='.:<path to site home>') in <path to site  
home>/drupal/includes/theme.inc on line 51.

Fatal error: Class theme_unconed: Cannot inherit from undefined class  
basetheme in <path to site home>/drupal/themes/unconed/unconed.theme on  
line 4

The first error also appears at the top of my Drupal home page.  How can I  
resolve this so I can enjoy the CVS goodness?  Thanks!
