Chameleon: Marvin CSS

Is the Chameleon theme's Marvin CSS styled as intended?  Or was the 
intent to make it look like the older Marvin theme?

If it works as intended, I'll make my own theme.  Otherwise, I'd be 
happy to contribute rules to the CSS to make it look more like the old 
Marvin.

Background:

I was using the Marvin theme, primarily for its compactness and clean 
layout and did a CVS update on my site, forgetting that it had been 
removed from core.  It took me a few minutes to figure out the reason 
for my PHP errors was the missing Marvin theme.

So I changed my default theme to fix that.

Now I'm using Chameleon with the Marvin stylesheet and it looks nothing 
like Marvin, nor does it style some of the compenents that Marvin did, 
e.g. background color.
