books link is no longer in the menu at drupal.org

i am logged into drupal and i click on the "books" link in the new menu
and i get a message that comes up that says i am not authozied to view
the page.   the same think happens when i click the drupal handbook
link that appears under the books link in the new menu.

Make sure you have the proper permissions to access the book. If this
really is a bug re-open with more information.

it is on the drupal.org site, so i can't really change my
permissions...

if i am not supposed to have permissions to via the book, then the menu
item should not be there, yes?

Looks to me like the problem is that the link for the book item in the
navigation is going to 'admin/node/book' which only a few people on the
site can do (adminster books).  Either it should point to 'book/' (i.e.
view books) or it should not display for people without book admin
priviledges.
