I've been contacted quite a while ago by users of your .chm manual. Your
site seems to tell that there are only .chm viewers for Windows.
That's not entirely true. xCHM works on most Unices and Mac OS X.
Look it up at http://xchm.sourceforge.net . Ports for FreeBSD, Debian,
Mandrake and Gentoo packages are also available from various sources.
The CHM available from http://weblabor.hu/php-doc-chm/ is better viewed
on windows only. It has a windows .exe to set preferences (though the
preference file is a JavaScript file), and it also uses IE only JS
tricks to achive what it does.
BTW I have added a note to php.net/get/docs on the xCHM viewer lately,
even though I was unable to set it up myself on my RedHat [yet]. :)
