This patch is very interesting, however I would like to see it 
indepentant from external commands. There is a BSD-licensed javascript 
md5 implementation out there, (see 
http://pajhome.org.uk/crypt/md5/md5src.html) maybe we can incorporate 
that into wpkg in some way?
