Hello,
I've been playing a bit with python and petri nets. Thanks to cris and
indigo for their hints.
There is nothing innovative in there, but it shows how we can make
this work to people who would like to understand what we are working
on...
There is a little "demo.py" that you can try (that's not dangerous, it
performs a very simple math formula).
Things I'd like to improve (depends on time):
- Having "named" places so transitions do not need to have an order in
their input and output places lists.
- Make it faster to link up places and transitions together (maybe a
small language to do so)
- Develop better primitive transitions
- Add persistence (maybe using pickle to "save" a petrinet and its
state would be good at first)
Enjoy ;-)
