Writing documentation(was Re: I'm interested in helping.): msg#00004

Subject: Writing documentation(was Re: I'm interested in helping.)
Well, if I were to improve, maybe, the building doc or the readme, what
should I do?

We had a wiki a long while ago. It wasn't that useful. What we need
is complete documentation, not a bunch of disorganised items.

That sounds good. I'd personally like a wiki or something like that,
easy and unobtrusive(did I spell it right?). What'd you suggest?

I strongly believe in documentation. As you told me few days ago,
there was missing things on the website, especially about the
        ckpt
installation. We will drop ckpt, but many other things need
        to be
documented, beginning with the concepts we want to develop.

If were to find some time, where could I be useful and in
        the same
time not in anybodys way. My experience is limited and c,
        asssembly
etc. isn't my thing at all. Maybe documentation, ui, misc
        minor
               utils,
etc. that isn't the first priority. Something that
        doesn't interfere
so much with your useful work. You also can't depend on
        me:). At
               least
I think I could be of use at testing things. Hope this
        doesn't seem
too useless, as I think I have a lot potential as I get
        some more
experience(participating in something like this would be
        of great
help). What you're doing seems like a dream come true(at
        least
               mostly,
some of my dreams are pretty far fetched, though doable some
               day). I'm
also seriously thinking giving a money donation, maybe
        when I
               start a
               dayjob. Thanks

               Elmo
