I am having the same problem with both Solaris 10 U1 DVD and Nevada B37 DVD ISOs. hsfs mount: /dev/dsk/c1t0d0p0 is not an hsfs file system bzcat: Can't open input file /cdrom/Solaris_*/Tools/Boot/X.cpio.bz2: No such file or directory and after the identification section the install bombs out with: ERROR: The disc you inserted is not a Solaris OS CD/DVD The DVD installs complain about the media not being hsfs and bomb out, while the CD install does not compain and works fine. Here's my setup: CPU: AMD Athlon 2900+ 2.0GHz 400MHz FSB M/B: Chaintech 7NJL6 (nVidea nForce 2 Ultra 400) Mem: 2x Corsair V(1GB) PC3200 DDR 400MHz Vid: GeForce FX 5200 AGP8x Curious... - mikebo This message posted from opensolaris.org |
