SUMMARY: peer-to-peer fiber connection: msg#00056os.solaris.managers.summaries
Thanks to everyone who replied: Claude Charest Jason Santos Johan Hartzenberg Eugene Schmidt joe fletcher Matthew Stier Jeff Woolsey I have received different answers, some say it will not work, some say must cross the fiber cables to work and some say to just connect them and it will work. I will try the two later ways since I know it should work. Thank you, Vahid. ________________________________________________ Get your own "800" number Voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag ---- Vahid Moghaddasi sunman@xxxxxxxxxx wrote ---- > Date: Tue, 9 Sep 2003 18:46:12 -0400 > To: " Sun-Managers" <sunmanagers@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > From: Vahid Moghaddasi <sunman@xxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: peer-to-peer fiber connection > Reply-To: sunman@xxxxxxxxxx > > > Hi everyone, > We are migrating from E6500 to E15K and need a fast way to move > the data from the old machine to the new one.
