Re: HPCBOOT and 3.0 GENERIC Kernel?

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- No. None of that works. I understand the boot arguments, thanks. Compaq 2010c CF card trouble

Hi, The 3.0 install kernel doesn't seem to like my CF card. If I try to boot with the CF card inserted, the kernel hangs after the lines tx39ir0 at txcom1 txcsbus3 at tx39biu0 it8368e0 at txcsbus3 regcs CS2 16bit 0+0x20 iocs CARD1(io/attr) 16bit 0+0x4000000 irq1 98(3:2) irq2 168(5:8) irq3 98(3:2) it8368e0: fix attr mode pcmcia0 at it8368e0 pcmcia0: CIS version PCMCIA 2.0 or 2.1 pcmcia0: CIS info: HITACHI, FLASH, 5.0 pcmcia0: Manufacturer code 0x7, product 0x0 pcmcia0: function 0: fixed disk(ata), ccr addr 200 mask f pcmcia0: function 0, config table entry 0: memory card; irq mask 0 memspace 0-7ff; rdybsy_active powerdown pcmcia0: function 0, config table entry 1: I/O card; irq mask ffff; iomask 4, iospace 0-f; memspace 0-7ff; rdybsy_active io8 io16 irqshare irqpulse irqlevel powerdown pcmcia0: function 0, config table entry 2: I/O card; irq mask 4000; iomask a, iospace 1f0-1f7; memspace 0-7ff; rdybsy_active io8 io16 irqshare irqpulse irqlevel powerdown pcmcia0: function 0, config table entry 3: I/O card; irq mask 4000; iomask a, iospace 170-177; memspace 0-7ff; rdybsy_active io8 io16 irqshare irqpulse irqlevel powerdown wdc0 at pcmcia0 function 0: <HITACHI, FLASH, 5.0> wdc0: i/o mapped mode After this, nothing happens. I've tried using a different CF card, and a different PCMCIA to CF adaptor, but the result is the same. However, if I remove the CF card just after pbsdboot has finished reading the kernel into memory, it boots fine. Everything used to work fine with -current, about a year ago. Windows CE doesn't seem to have any problems with the CF card, either. Any ideas?
