make mozilla 1.1 & autoconf: msg#00276os.netbsd.help
Trying to install Mozilla on NetBSD 1.5.4_Alpha and have hit a snag. Is this a reguar snag or is it due to the package being for 1.6? Should I press on by deleting automake, then autoconf and reinstall Mozilla? Or should I postpone until I am up to 1.6? Here is the full report: gus: {32} make => Checksum OK for mozilla-source-1.1.tar.gz. ===> Extracting for mozilla-1.1nb1 ===> Required installed package gdk-pixbuf>=0.17.0: gdk-pixbuf-0.17.0 found ===> Required installed package jpeg-6b: jpeg-6b found ===> Required installed package png>=1.2.4: png-1.2.4 found ===> Required installed package tiff>=3.5.4: tiff-3.5.5 found ===> Required installed package gtk+>=1.2.8: gtk+-1.2.10nb3 found ===> Required installed package gettext-lib>=0.10.35nb1: gettext-lib-0.10.35nb1 found ===> Required installed package glib>=1.2.8: glib-1.2.10nb3 found ===> Required installed package pth>=1.4.1nb2: pth-1.4.1nb2 found ===> Required installed package ORBit>=0.5.12: ORBit-0.5.15nb1 found ===> Required installed package zip>=2.3: zip-2.3nb2 found ===> Required package autoconf213>=2.13: NOT found ===> Verifying reinstall for ../../devel/autoconf213 ===> Installing for autoconf213-2.13 ===> autoconf213-2.13 conflicts with installed package(s): autoconf-2.13 found. *** They install the same files into the same place. *** Please remove autoconf-2.13 first with pkg_delete(1). *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. gus: {33} pkg_info autoconf Information for autoconf-2.13: Comment: Automatically configure source code on many Un*x platforms Requires: m4-1.4 p5-CGI>=2.75.2 perl-base>=5.6.1 perl-{5.0*,5.6.0nb2,base-5.[6-9]*} perl>=5.0 Required by: automake-1.4.5nb1 Description: Autoconf is an extensible package of m4 macros that produce shell scripts to automatically configure software source code packages. These scripts can adapt the packages to many kinds of UNIX-like systems without manual user intervention. Autoconf creates a configuration script for a package from a template file that lists the operating system features that the package can use, in the form of m4 macro calls.
