I usually only test packages that i'm not using for build purposes only. A few
months back, i built this package to ensure it built. Actually, i did run it,
because it had the word 'phone' in it and that made me think it was a SIP phone.
I believe that this was before you updated and committed many changes to it.

RE: Review Request: wip/TextEdit

I was unable to get this to work. Make seemed to complete successfully, as did make install, but couldn't find the binary anywhere. Ran it from the work dir, and got the error "Did not find correct version of backend, falling back to std." Has anyone tried my wip/alephone package? Re: Review Request: wip/TextEdit

Did you try using "openapp TextEdit"? That is the standard way to run GNUstep programs. If you want to run the binary without using openapp, you'll find it under /usr/pkg/share/GNUstep/System/Applications/TextEdit.app/TextEdit. However, letting openapp find it for you is easier. - Dave V. On Thu, 11 Oct 2007 00:50:59 -0500 "Larson, Timothy E." <TELarson@xxxxxxxx> wrote: > I was unable to get this to work. I only ever saw one response on the list. If no one gives feedback, how can we know if a package should be imported? I'd really like to see A1 approved before the next pkgsrc release is cut.
