test wip/pine-pgp-filters ?: msg#00003

Subject: test wip/pine-pgp-filters ?

The pgp tools included with the pkgsrc pine package are old (not updated)
and insecure.

I have packaged wip/pine-pgp-filters but have not tested yet.

It is said to work with pgp6 (which is why I cc'd tv) and gpg.

pkgsrc already has pinepgp too (which is why I cc'd jschauma).

I will be removing the pgp tools form the pkgsrc/mail/pine package. And I
hope to have a MESSAGE that suggests to the user to install pinepgp and/or
pine-pgp-filters.

pinepgp has PINEPGP_USEGPG and PINEPGP_USEPGP5 to setup dependencies. They
default to "yes".

Jan, I see a typo in your Makefile: it mentions "PINEPGP_USEPGP5" but then
it checks for PINEPGP_USEGPG (twice).

Should I use the same PINEPGP_USEGPG and PINEPGP_USEPGP5 for my package
too?

I am also curious if pgp5 is good enough (or if I really need pgp6).

If you can test wip/pine-pgp-filters I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Jeremy C. Reed
