speaking text problem/firefox bookmarks problem

hi, i have a couple problems i'm hoping someone can help with :)

first off, when i invoke, press . to go into text mode then type
something, when i press tab to go to the 2nd box, the 'speak text
(say)' thing isn't there. it used to be there when i used quicksilver
with tiger but have just upgraded to leopard. could this be the
reason?

also, i've noticed that i can no longer invoke and then type the name
of a bookmark i have in firefox. is this due to leopard also?
