I would certainly get rid of the logitech drivers. I paid for steeermouse and couldn't be happier. I wanted to give logitech the benefit of the doubt until MacVim wouldn't work. If you look on the web there is tons of posting (although mostly earlier) of bad juju and the logitech drivers.
