Re: function key activation iffy: msg#00156os.macosx.quicksilver.user
I've used single press "fn" key activation for a long time. Recently that stopped working and I suspect a software change or conflict, as the key works fine in other contexts. I've had a number of problems with the input layer in OS X and have seen mouse/keyboard drivers and hot key software interact poorly. At this point I'm going to try some basic troubleshooting - a fresh account, removing the logitech drivers, etc. - On Jul 25, 6:49 pm, valrus <imcco...-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > I'm trying to use the fn-key activation on my MacBook and it's > extremely dodgy; it seems to work when Quicksilver's prefs window has > focus but rarely, if ever, otherwise.
