Re: Image Manipulation Plugin looses Metadata |
I haven't heard this before but I don't think you're doing anything
wrong. The plugin is just 68K so I assume it just using some OS
service to do the changes.

I shoot Pictures with a EOS 400D, generally in Raw-Format and to
publish them on the web I generally export them as jpgs from Aperture.
I have been using Photoshop to resize those exported pictures, but,
after having used Quicksilver for a while now I just recently stumbled
over this awsome Image Manipulation Plugin.
This would really increase my workspeed a lot, if it wasnt for one
huge letdown:
When I resize an Image with quicksilver (using "Scale Image" and then
generally something like "1600x" or "1600x as jpeg", doesnt matter
wich one I use), all the Metadata Information like Aperture, Camera
Modell, and so on is lost.
Am I doing anything wrong or is there some way to preserve that
information?
Thanks in advance for your help, I'd hate not to be able to use this
because of this tinny letdown..
