I don't think there is a default option, but there's no point anyway. It's a keystroke away... press the hotkey press g press enter start typing your query mind you, this means setting the default entry to "g" to google search. Alternatively, if two key strokes is too much for you, just use triggers. But I highly recommend you don't.
