no they won't that is what I changed
Yup, you did. However, please next time when you make such major
changes, at the very least post a message in parallel to fink-devel
explaining what you did. Even better, put your changes into a .diff,
into your experimental tree; then send a message to fink-devel asking
for discussion of your changes. If you get no replies after a few days,
you can still just apply the changes. That way, at least we get some
chance to react, even those of use who can't attend IRC that much (like
me currently due to examinations which are still going on till in two
weeks, when my trimester is finished). While it's true that any change
made in CVS can easily be undone, changes should still not be made
lightly.
Maybe this was extensively discussed on IRC before you commited it;
however, that means only a small subgroup of developers was privy to
it; at least as a sign of courtesy to us others, I'd appreciate if we
didn't have to learn about it by combing thru the fink-commits list.
That said, done is done. Let's forget it and move on to solve the
problems we are facing :-) I'll try to write up some things in separate
mails, and hope for others to join in (obviously I can't be of much
real use until I receive my 10.3 seeds. And don't even offer me a warez
version, please).
I really need to start using the reply all button
Yeah, I understand the problem, happened to me all the time when I
first switched to Mail.app. Now I almost only use it. In fact I
modified my Mail.app and switched the key short cuts, too (so Cmd-R now
does Reply-All for me).
Cheers,
Max
