heheh terpaksa tuker tambah s45 nya pakai t39m (saya juga pakai t39 +
ecs928 + bluetooth USB ... Irda nya pangsi'un ajah gara2 dah ada
bluetooth)

Maaf agak OOT karena tidak berhubungan langsung dengan PDA.

Saya mencoba menggabungkan Siemens S45 + Desknote A928 + IM3. Ternyata
ada bbrp problem sehingga sampai sekarang belum jalan. Semoga hanya
karena saya yg tdk tahu.

Begini.
S45 menyediakan kabel data serial RS232 dan ada infrared (IrDA)-nya.
Disebutkan di CD manualnya untuk mengaktifkan GPRS tidak bisa lewat 
IrDA.
Harus lewat kabel data. (kok gitu, ya?) Berarti menggunakan internet
terbatas waktunya seumur baterenya aktif.

Sedangkan Desknote A928 hanya punya infrared (mungkin sama seperti 
PDA).
Saya tdk menemukan serial RS232. Mouse eksternalnya menggunakan USB. 
Ada 4 port USB.

Adakah rekan2 punya saran/trik agar saya bisa surfing dengan alat2 
di atas?
Sudah kebelet, nih. Pasalnya, fasilitas dari IM3 ini katanya gratis 
hanya sampai akhir September 2002.

Kemungkinan/dugaan saya:
Perlu converter USB ke Serial RS-232 (adakah?)

Dari manual yang ada di CD juga ada pesan spt ini:

### IrDA ###
The Assistant as well as the mobile phones do not support GPRS via 
IrDA, but
it may work nevertheless ... You will get problems when the Windows
Plug&Play mechanism detects the S45 / M45 via IrDA. It will install the
modem 
again.
To solve the problem: Do not use IrDA but the cable that came with 
the
mobile
phone. Deinstall the modem that is conected to the IrDA port and run 
the
Assistant's installation again.
