Does anybody know the name of the command? I just can't find it, and I can't find any reference to it anywhere. Maybe I just don't have it installed. Thanks! Daniel: It's been a few years since I set up software raid, but I didn't need disk druid. I used two dual channel Promise ide controllers to give each drive its own bus. The raid software did everything for me once I identified the drives. I don't boot from the raid array. I use a separate drive for the OS. I'm using Slackware 8.0 or 8.1, I think. I'm not sure, it's been quite a while. And I'm using kernel 2.4.18. The only problems I've had have been with the boot drive. When I've had to replace it, the raid software found the array and configured itself. The array is raid 5 with Reiserfs. It's been bulletproof so far. (Knock on wood.) If you have any questions, I'll try digging through my config files for you.
