Dear People and Jason,

I tried rebooting the set up box today and now the linux PC connection is working again....

I had to sign up with the NTL site again.

It seems my network card is working fine.

Thanks,

Michael Fothergill

Mike, those are still the valid DNS addresses. Try 'ping'ing them - if
you don't get a response, try unplugging & re-plugging in your NTL cable
box - NTL did a software update a couple of days ago that screwed-up the
connection for awhile. Re-booting the NTL box, as described, sorted the
problem.

Good Luck, Jason.
